South Carolina, The Mount Pleasant community is heartbroken over the loss of Megan Lowry, a beloved and vibrant presence whose passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew her. A dedicated member of the Snee Farm Swim Team, Megan was not only an exceptional athlete but also a spirited leader, a loyal friend, and a beacon of positivity.
Megan’s competitive drive in the pool was matched only by her compassion and warmth outside of it. Her energy was contagious, her support unwavering, and her presence uplifting. To her teammates, she was a motivator and mentor; to her family and friends, she was a light that brightened every room.
Beyond her achievements in the water, Megan lived a life of kindness, courage, and authenticity. Her ability to bring people together and lift them up left a lasting impact that will not be forgotten.
A memorial service will be held at Stella Maris Church on Sullivan’s Island, offering a space for loved ones, friends, and teammates to gather in remembrance, share memories, and celebrate a life lived with passion and purpose.
Megan Lowry’s spirit will forever ripple through the lanes of Snee Farm and in the lives of those she inspired. She will be remembered always—for her strength, her laughter, and the love she gave so freely.
