Milwaukee, WI – A fatal shooting is under investigation after emergency crews responded to the 4100 block of N 26th Street in Milwaukee. The incident occurred on July 11 prompting a swift response from Med 2 and the Milwaukee Police Department.
Upon arrival, first responders found one individual suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim, and no suspect information has been provided at this time. Police are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting and are currently canvassing the area for witnesses and surveillance footage.
Residents in the area expressed deep concern over the continuing violence in their neighborhood. The block was closed off for several hours as police conducted their investigation.
