Madison Heights, MI — With profound sorrow and heavy hearts, the community mourns the tragic and untimely passing of Alex Habib, who lost his life in a devastating high-speed car accident on the morning of June 12, 2025.
Alex was so much more than the victim of a crash — he was a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished son, a loyal brother, and a true friend to many. Married to Danielle, the light of his life and my dear cousin, Alex built a beautiful young family grounded in love, sacrifice, and joy. Together, they shared two precious children: Eleanora, just 1 year old, and Santiago, only 3 months old — both far too young to understand the loss of the incredible man who loved them more than anything in this world.
Alex’s life revolved around his family. He was a man of quiet strength and deep devotion, someone who worked tirelessly to ensure his wife and children were safe, supported, and loved. His presence was steady and strong — a provider in every sense of the word, both emotionally and financially.
Beyond his role as a husband and father, Alex was a beloved son to Leticia and a loyal brother to Junior and Dany. The bond between them was rooted in unconditional love, laughter, and unshakable support. To them, Alex was not just family — he was a rock, someone who never wavered, never hesitated to be there when needed.
Now, as Danielle faces the unimaginable task of raising two babies without her life partner, the weight of grief and responsibility is overwhelming. In this moment of deep loss, we’re asking for help. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support Danielle and the children — to assist with funeral costs, cover daily living expenses, and allow her the time and space to begin healing.
If you’re able to give — no matter the amount — your generosity will bring comfort and tangible support to a grieving family. If you’re not able to donate right now, please consider sharing the link and keeping Danielle, Eleanora, Santiago, and the entire Habib family in your thoughts and prayers.
