TROY, N.Y. —A tragic motorcycle crash in Troy, New York claimed the life of Kyran Nardolillo, 39, of Albany, on Thursday evening, according to Troy Police.
The accident occurred on Second Avenue, prompting authorities to shut down the road between 106th and 108th Streets for several hours as they investigated the scene. Police reported that Nardolillo was traveling southbound on Second Avenue when he lost control of his motorcycle and struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle.
First responders arrived to find Nardolillo lying on the ground, suffering from severe injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but despite emergency efforts, he was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival.
The crash is still under investigation by Troy Police, and no other injuries were reported. Authorities have not yet released further details about the circumstances leading up to the crash.
As the community mourns the loss of Kyran Nardolillo, friends and family are left grappling with the suddenness of his passing. Second Avenue has since reopened to traffic.
