White, Georgia, With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we mourn the passing of Lieutenant Andrea Crutchfield, who died peacefully at her home in White, Georgia, on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the age of 47. Her passing is not only a deep loss to her family and friends, but also to the entire Bartow County community she so proudly served.
Lt. Crutchfield dedicated over 22 years of her life to law enforcement in Bartow County, beginning her career as a correctional officer in 2003 and rising through the ranks to become a lieutenant in 2020. Her passion for justice, tireless dedication, and unwavering integrity earned her the respect and admiration of her peers, and the gratitude of the community she protected.
But Andrea was so much more than her badge.
She was a woman of warmth, joy, and boundless love. She lived for Saturday Fun Days with her family, the thrill of amusement parks, motorcycle rides, and all things Disney. Her dogs were always close by, and she found her greatest joy in being a mother and grandmother—a role she embraced with deep love and devotion.
To those who knew her best, Andrea was a devoted wife, sister, mother, stepmother, and proud “Nana.” She treasured annual family trips to Michigan, always filling those visits with laughter, storytelling, and memories that will last forever.
Lt. Crutchfield wasn’t just a respected officer—she was a friend, a mentor, and a bright light in the lives of so many. Her infectious laugh, adventurous spirit, and genuine compassion made her unforgettable. She leaves behind a legacy of courage, kindness, and unwavering love.
