VICTIM IDENTIFIED AFTER FATAL SHOOTING IN NORTH CITY ST. LOUIS

ST. LOUIS, MO – The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department has identified the victim in a fatal shooting that occurred in North City as 16-year-old Elijah Mullins.

The tragic incident happened on Friday, July 11, 2025, at approximately 10:30 a.m., near Lillian and Beacon in the 6th District. Officers responded to reports of a shooting and discovered Elijah suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

According to family members, Elijah had left home on his bicycle to go to the store to buy snacks before heading to work. He never made it back. He reportedly tried to ride home after being shot but collapsed just a block away. He was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The St. Louis Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation, which remains ongoing. Authorities are working to determine the circumstances and motive behind this senseless act of violence.
