Heartbreaking Crash Claims Two Lives on I-69 Near Slaughters, Kentucky

HENDERSON, Ky— A tragic accident has left the communities of Henderson, Kentucky, and Indianapolis, Indiana, mourning the sudden and devastating loss of two individuals following a fatal head-on collision early Saturday morning.

According to a statement released by the Kentucky State Police (KSP), troopers responded to a horrific crash on Interstate 69 near Slaughters shortly after 4 a.m. Preliminary investigations revealed that 30-year-old Heather Greer of Henderson was traveling southbound when, for reasons still under investigation, her vehicle veered across the median and collided head-on with a northbound vehicle driven by 31-year-old Gregory Lundy of Indianapolis.

Both Greer and Lundy sustained fatal injuries and were tragically pronounced dead at the scene by the Webster County Coroner.
