Johnstown, Ohio, It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brylan Kramer, a beloved 16-year-old from Johnstown, Ohio, whose life was tragically cut short on July 11, 2025.
Born in Newark, Ohio, on May 7, 2009, Brylan was a radiant soul who brought warmth, joy, and kindness wherever they went. Known for their vibrant spirit, infectious smile, and deep compassion, Brylan made a lasting impression on everyone they met. Their untimely passing has left a profound void in the hearts of family, friends, classmates, and the entire community.
Brylan is survived by loving parents Brandon and Kassedy, along with a wide circle of devoted great-grandparents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who were touched by their bright presence and generous heart.
To honor Brylan’s memory, a visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Newark Chapel. A celebration of life service will follow at 6:30 PM at the same location. The family, with the support of Vensil Orr & Chute Funeral Home, invites all who knew and loved Brylan to attend and share in remembrance.
In an emotional tribute shared on social media, one of Brylan’s friends wrote,
“Brylan’s kindness and light will never be forgotten. We are heartbroken for the family and all who knew Brylan.”
Though Brylan’s time here was far too brief, their memory will live on in the laughter they sparked, the love they shared, and the lives they touched. They leave behind a legacy of hope, kindness, and resilience that will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know them.
