Tragic Crash Claims Life of Young Woman in East Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — A devastating car crash in East Tulsa on Sunday night has claimed the life of a 24-year-old woman, according to the Tulsa Police Department.

The collision occurred around 10:30 p.m. near East 21st Street and Highway 169. Responding officers arrived at the scene to find two vehicles that had veered off the road as a result of the impact. Tragically, the young woman driving one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say the crash happened when the woman, who was driving eastbound on East 21st Street, attempted to make a left turn—either onto the highway ramp or possibly to initiate a U-turn. At that moment, a man traveling westbound struck the passenger side of her vehicle, forcefully pushing it off the roadway.

Authorities have not released the identity of the victim as they work to notify next of kin. The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The Tulsa Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. They urge all drivers to use extra caution at intersections, especially in low-visibility conditions or during night hours.

This heartbreaking incident marks another somber reminder of how quickly lives can be lost on the road. The Tulsa community mourns the loss of a young life taken far too soon.
