FORT WORTH, Texas — After nearly two weeks on the run, authorities have captured Benjamin Song, the alleged Antifa-affiliated shooter accused of carrying out a brazen ambush attack at a federal immigration facility on July 4th. Law enforcement released his latest mugshot following his arrest, which shows Song with shaved eyebrows — an apparent attempt to alter his appearance and evade detection.
Song had been at the top of the FBI’s most-wanted list following the Independence Day attack on an ICE facility in the Fort Worth area. The incident left several federal officers injured and rattled the community with its level of coordination and violence. According to federal officials, Song had been a key suspect in the assault, which authorities described as a premeditated and politically motivated attack against federal law enforcement.
