— Hamilton Woman Killed in Southeast Indiana Crash

The community of Hamilton, Ohio is mourning the loss of 68-year-old Darla Tabor, who tragically died following a single-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon in southeast Indiana.

According to Indiana State Police (ISP), the crash occurred just before 2:30 p.m. on July 14 along Interstate 74, approximately three miles east of Batesville near mile marker 153. Tabor was traveling eastbound in a 2002 Mercury when she reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn.

Emergency responders rushed Tabor to a hospital in the Cincinnati area, but she was later pronounced dead from her injuries.

Investigators at the scene found evidence suggesting that Tabor may not have been properly restrained at the time of the crash, a factor they believe likely contributed to the severity of her injuries. ISP also indicated that a medical condition may have played a role in the incident. At this time, there is no indication that alcohol or drugs were involved.

The crash remains under investigation, and authorities are working to determine the exact circumstances that led to the fatal accident.

Darla Tabor is remembered by loved ones as a kind and caring individual, and her sudden passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who knew her.
