Tragic Accident at Tina’s Burritos: 19-Year-Old Worker Dies After Falling Into Meat Grinder


Vernon, California — A heartbreaking workplace tragedy has left a community in mourning after a 19-year-old employee at Tina’s Burritos lost his life in a devastating industrial accident.

The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. when the young worker was reportedly cleaning a meat grinder at the food manufacturing facility. According to authorities, the equipment unexpectedly activated during the cleaning process, pulling the man into the machine. Despite immediate efforts by nearby coworkers to shut down the machinery and the swift arrival of emergency responders, the worker was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials from the Vernon Police Department and California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA) are investigating the case, which they are treating as a tragic industrial accident.
