Wynnum, QLD – July 16, 2025 — A quiet morning in Wynnum was shattered by tragedy when a 14-year-old boy lost his life after being struck by a vehicle in a devastating traffic accident.
At approximately 8:20 a.m., emergency services were called to Berrima Street following reports that a Mitsubishi Pajero had collided with a pedestrian. Despite the rapid arrival of paramedics, the young boy, a local resident of Wynnum, was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of his injuries.
The driver of the Pajero, a 17-year-old male, was accompanied by two passengers — a 41-year-old woman and a 16-year-old male. Fortunately, none of them sustained physical injuries in the incident.
