Two Men Hospitalized After Shooting Inside Roanoke Residence, Investigation Ongoing

According to police, officers were dispatched on July 15, 2025, at approximately 7:43 p.m. to a residence in the 1800 block of Staunton Avenue NW following reports of gunfire inside the home.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a man inside the residence suffering from severe gunshot wound injuries. Emergency medical services quickly transported the victim to a nearby hospital where he is currently receiving treatment. A short time later, a second man arrived separately at a local hospital, also with serious gunshot wounds.
