Dallas Shooting Leaves Man Dead; Police Searching for Suspect

DALLAS, TX — A deadly shooting in the early hours of Saturday, July 19, 2025, has left a 29-year-old man dead, and police are now working to identify and locate the suspect.

According to the Dallas Police Department, officers responded to reports of gunfire around 3:25 a.m. in the 3500 block of Wilhurt Avenue in East Oak Cliff. Upon arrival, they found Isaiah McWilliams, 29, suffering from a gunshot wound.

Dallas Fire-Rescue transported McWilliams to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The suspect had already fled the scene by the time officers arrived and remains at large. No arrests have been made, and authorities have not released information about a possible motive or suspect description at this time.

The investigation remains ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
