Kennetz Daniels Obituary Death It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Kennetz Daniels, 22, of Edwards, Mississippi, who tragically died on the evening of Friday, July 18, 2025, in Walls, Mississippi. Authorities believe his death was the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
According to the Walls Police Department, officers were dispatched shortly after 8 p.m. to the 3000 block of Camilla Circle West following a report of an unresponsive male found near a pond. Upon arrival, they discovered a young Black man on the ground with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Emergency responders provided immediate medical assistance on-site before transporting him to Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven. Sadly, Kennetz was pronounced dead at 9:19 p.m.
At this time, police have found no signs of foul play, though the investigation remains ongoing as they work to fully understand the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Kennetz was a young man whose life, though brief, left an impression on those who knew him. His passing is a heartbreaking loss to his family, friends, and community. He will be remembered for his quiet strength and gentle soul.
