Timothy Neyenhaus Obituary Death The Perry County community is grieving the heartbreaking and sudden loss of Timothy Neyenhaus, who tragically lost his life in the early hours of Saturday, July 19, 2025, as a result of a fatal traffic crash along State Road 145 near Cattail Road, just outside of Bristow, Indiana. He was 43 years old.

According to the Perry County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 12:19 a.m., Timothy’s vehicle—a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado—had left the roadway and became stuck in a culvert, partially obstructing the southbound lane of the highway. Demonstrating his character and calm under pressure, Timothy remained at the scene attempting to resolve the situation when two Good Samaritans stopped to help.

Tragically, while the men were working near the disabled vehicle, a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Jeffery A. Rasche of Indiana failed to slow down or stop for the incident and collided with both Timothy and his vehicle. Emergency services responded immediately, but Timothy was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver, Jeffery Rasche, was detained and arrested on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, with additional charges including Operating While Intoxicated Causing Death and Operating While Intoxicated Endangerment. The investigation remains ongoing.

Timothy Neyenhaus was a man of integrity, quiet strength, and deep compassion. Friends and family remember him as someone who would go out of his way to help others, a dependable presence with a kind heart and a grounded spirit.
