Obituary: Dr Musaddiq Nazeeri, 58, of Lebanon, Pennsylvania

The community is mourning the tragic loss of Dr, Musaddiq Nazeeri, 58, of Lebanon, who passed away on the morning of Sunday, July 20, 2025, following a plane crash shortly after takeoff from Lancaster Airport.

According to the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office, the crash occurred at approximately 8:15 a.m. in a cornfield near Stauffer Road in Warwick Township, just minutes after Mr. Nazeeri departed from the airport. He was the sole occupant of the aircraft and was pronounced dead at 8:51 a.m. upon the arrival of emergency personnel. Miraculously, no one on the ground was injured in the incident.

Musaddiq Nazeeri was known among family, friends, and colleagues as a thoughtful, intelligent, and compassionate individual.
