EASTERN IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — Authorities are urgently searching for Jamie Leigh Reese, a 5-foot-1, 95-pound white female who was reported missing late Monday night, July 21, 2025. Reese was last seen around 11:30 p.m. EDT walking away from her home at 652 Garden Valley Road.
At the time of her disappearance, Reese was wearing a white leather jacket and white Crocs. The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office notes that she has bipolar disorder, which may affect her behavior and raises concern for her safety, prompting an intensive search operation.
Search efforts began early Tuesday morning, July 22, and have included deputies, K-9 units, and aerial drone support, focusing on the area surrounding Garden Valley Road.
Authorities are urging the public to remain alert and immediately call 911 if they see Jamie Leigh Reese or have any information that could assist in locating her. Residents in the area are also asked to check doorbell or security camera footage and search their properties, including outbuildings and wooded areas.
The Sheriff’s Office is encouraging widespread sharing of this alert to help bring Jamie home safely. The investigation remains active and ongoing, with further updates expected as new information becomes available.
