Father and Son Killed in Domestic Violence Shooting in Buckner

BUCKNER, Ky. — A tragic domestic violence incident in Buckner has left a father and son dead following a shooting that occurred just after midnight on July 24, according to the Oldham County Police Department.

Authorities responded to a residence on Clare Cove at approximately 12:27 a.m., after receiving a 911 call from a juvenile inside the home. The caller reported a violent physical altercation in progress between her 47-year-old father, Nadeem Pasha, and her 17-year-old brother, Elizjah Pasha.

When officers arrived, they immediately located the caller outside the residence and ensured her safety before entering the home. Inside, officers discovered both Nadeem and Elizjah suffering from critical gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts by Oldham County EMS, both were pronounced deceased at the scene.

“All parties in the home are accounted for, and there is no ongoing threat to the public,” officials stated in a release issued at 11:33 a.m. on July 24.

The incident remains under active investigation. Authorities have not released further details about the circumstances leading up to the shooting or who may have fired the weapon.
