According to Miami police, the incident unfolded when officers encountered 30-year-old Norman Lindo, who they say was armed with a gun. Officers opened fire, fatally striking Lindo.
In a heartbreaking turn of events, 28-year-old Evelyn Valdes, a social worker who was driving nearby after celebrating her birthday, was also struck by gunfire and killed. Authorities have not yet clarified how she was hit during the confrontation.
Both families are now demanding answers and accountability. “Evelyn was just in the wrong place at the wrong time,” said a grieving relative. “She was full of life, and we need to know what really happened.”
