Victim in Lancaster Shooting Identified as 26-Year-Old Tyrese Clark

LANCASTER, Calif. — Authorities have identified the man who was fatally shot in Lancaster last Friday as 26-year-old Tyrese Clark, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The shooting occurred around 8:05 p.m. on July 18 in the 44300 block of Cedar Avenue. Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene and found Clark suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Sheriff’s homicide detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. As of now, no suspects have been named, and no motive has been released.
