SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Sacramento community is reeling after the tragic and untimely death of Isaac Rudolph, known to many as “IBoyy,” a member of the Zilla collective. Rudolph was fatally shot early Thursday morning in the south Natomas area of north Sacramento.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, officers were dispatched around 3:30 a.m. to the 2000 block of West El Camino Avenue following reports of a possible shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Emergency personnel attempted life-saving measures, but Rudolph was pronounced dead at the scene.
Known in local music and cultural circles, IBoyy had made a name for himself as a creative force in the Zilla movement—respected for his artistic energy, authenticity, and connection to the community. His sudden death has left friends, collaborators, and fans shocked and heartbroken.
Police have not released details regarding possible suspects or a motive for the shooting. The incident remains under active investigation, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
