Cross Anchor, SC — Tragedy struck southern Spartanburg County after a deadly house fire claimed the lives of two individuals. The fire occurred at a residence on Grace Chapel Road in the Cross Anchor community.
According to reports, the structure was a mobile home, which was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived. Trinity Fire Department led the emergency response, with assistance from multiple surrounding departments due to the intensity of the blaze.
The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office was called to the scene and has confirmed two fatalities. The names of the victims have not yet been released pending family notification.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
