TULSA, OK — July 25, 2025: A 3-year-old boy is recovering after being struck by a stray bullet during a shooting incident near 4600 North Boulder Avenue, according to the Tulsa Police Department.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire in the area around 8:50 PM. Upon arrival, they learned that the young child had been shot in the leg while outside with family members. Witnesses stated they heard multiple gunshots coming from a nearby residence to the north just before the child was injured.

According to investigators, the boy’s grandfather was standing in the front yard when he heard the shots and then immediately heard his grandson crying.
