It is with deep regret and heavy hearts that our members announce the passing of Retired Butler Police Department Lieutenant Robert “Bobby” Findura.
Bobby was far more than just a dedicated officer—he was a cornerstone of the Butler Police Department and a steadfast pillar in our community. Through his years of service, Bobby exemplified integrity, courage, and compassion. He was always there—whether to ensure the safety of his fellow officers, assist in times of need, or offer a calming presence in the face of crisis.
His dedication to the department went far beyond the badge. Bobby was the kind of person who showed up—time and time again—not because he had to, but because he genuinely cared. He gave his all, not just to his role as a lieutenant, but to every person he worked with and served.
A constant figure in our first responder family, Bobby made lasting impacts on countless lives. His humor, wisdom, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
Thank you, Bobby, for your years of unwavering service, selflessness, and brotherhood. Your legacy lives on in the department, in the community you loved, and in the hearts of those whose lives you touched.
