Detroit Police Investigating Deadly Gas Station Shooting That Left Four Shot, One Dead

Detroit, MI — A violent early morning shooting at a Detroit gas station has left four people shot and one man dead, prompting an active investigation by the Detroit Police Department.

The incident occurred around 4:00 a.m. Monday inside a gas station located on Puritan near Livernois on the city’s west side.

According to police, three women—two in their 30s and one in her 20s—sustained gunshot wounds and were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions have not been publicly disclosed.

A man in his 30s, also struck by gunfire, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

At this time, investigators have not released details regarding what led up to the shooting. The suspect remains at large, and no arrests have been made.
