DALLAS, TX — A woman is being questioned by police after a man was fatally shot late Monday night in what authorities believe may be a domestic violence-related incident in East Oak Cliff. The victim was identified as 32-year-old Cameron Robertson.
Officers with the Dallas Police Department responded to a call just before midnight at the Trailside at Trinity Forest Apartments, located off East Ledbetter Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered 32-year-old Cameron Robertson suffering from a gunshot wound.
Robertson was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries, police confirmed.
Preliminary information suggests that Robertson was allegedly shot by his female partner. She was detained at the scene and is currently being questioned by investigators, along with other potential witnesses, to determine the sequence of events that led up to the shooting.
At this time, no arrests have been made, and the woman’s identity has not been released. The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities have not yet confirmed whether charges will be filed.
