Decker Girls: Three Missing Washington Sisters Found Dead

A devastating tragedy has shaken the Washington community and beyond, as Paityn, Evelyn, and Olivia Decker—three young sisters who were reported missing earlier this summer—have been found deceased. The girls were last seen on May 30, following a scheduled visitation with their father. Since then, their mother, Whitney Decker, and loved ones had been searching and hoping for their safe return.

Tragically, it has now been confirmed that Paityn, Evelyn, and Olivia have passed away. The heartbreak of this loss has rippled through everyone who knew them and through communities across the state. Their absence leaves an unimaginable void in the lives of their mother, friends, classmates, and the many who had the joy of experiencing their light.

A close friend of the family shared:

“I’ve known Whitney for years — we’re both dance moms and theater friends. We originally met through Short Shakespeareans, where I serve as music director and had the privilege of teaching Whitney’s girls. This year, my daughter Maisy and Whitney’s daughter Evelyn performed together on the Fabulous Feet Dance Rockstars team.”

The Decker girls were known not just for their talent and energy, but for their warmth and the bonds they formed through dance, theater, and school. Their mother, Whitney, is now facing not only the unbearable emotional toll of this tragedy but also the sudden financial burden of funeral expenses and time away from work to grieve and begin the long road to healing.

In response, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support Whitney directly. The organizer has confirmed that this is the only official fundraiser, created with Whitney’s full knowledge and consent. Funds will go toward final expenses, provide Whitney with time off from work, and help ease the burden of daily responsibilities in the wake of this unimaginable loss.
