RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with the California Highway Patrol has identified the two victims killed in a fatal crash that occurred on the morning of Thursday, July 24, 2025, along Interstate 10 near the Cactus City rest stop.
The victims have been identified as David Lynch, 68, and Kimberly Lynch, 65. According to authorities, the couple was traveling westbound on I-10 when their vehicle overturned under circumstances that remain under investigation.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the crash but tragically, both David and Kimberly Lynch were pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined. Investigators from CHP and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office are continuing to examine evidence and collect witness statements to better understand what led to the deadly incident.
No further details have been released at this time. The community mourns the loss of two lives, and authorities extend their condolences to the Lynch family during this difficult time.
