Arkansas State Police Release New Photo of Person of Interest in Devil’s Den Double Homicide

WEST FORK, Ark. — The Arkansas State Police (ASP) have released a new photo of a person of interest connected to the double homicide of a Prairie Grove couple at Devil’s Den State Park, as the search intensifies for the man suspected in the brutal attack.

The newly released image, obtained from a witness, was shared Tuesday afternoon to accompany a previously distributed composite sketch. Authorities are hoping the photo will generate new leads in the July 26 murders of Clinton David Brink, 43, and Cristen Amanda Brink, 41.

The couple was fatally attacked while hiking with their two daughters at the popular state park. Miraculously, the children were not harmed and are now in the care of family members.

The suspect is described as a white male of medium build, last seen wearing a long-sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up, dark pants, a dark baseball cap, and sunglasses. He was also carrying a black backpack, wearing fingerless gloves, and may have sustained an injury during the attack.

Witnesses reported seeing the man leaving the area in a black, four-door sedan, possibly a Mazda, with license plates obscured by tape. The vehicle was last seen traveling toward State Highway 170 or State Highway 220.

The Arkansas State Police urge anyone with information regarding the identity or whereabouts of the suspect to come forward. Tips can be submitted by calling 501-618-TIPS or through the ASP’s online tip portal.

As investigators continue their work, the community remains on edge, and the Brink family is being remembered with an outpouring of support as they mourn a devastating loss.

Authorities stress that any piece of information, no matter how small, could be vital in bringing justice to this case.
