Chris Young Identified as Victim in Fatal North Little Rock Shooting

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Authorities have identified the man who was fatally shot earlier this week in North Little Rock as 28-year-old Chris Young, according to the North Little Rock Police Department.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire around 11:25 p.m. on Monday in the 5500 block of Maple Street. When they arrived, they found Young lying unresponsive in the roadway. Emergency personnel quickly responded but sadly pronounced him dead at the scene.

So far, no suspects have been identified, and investigators have not released any information regarding a potential motive. The events leading up to the deadly shooting remain unclear, and police say the investigation is still in its early stages.
