SHIAWASSEE COUNTY, Mich– A tragic collision in Perry Township has claimed the life of a 37-year-old woman from Davison, according to the Shiawassee County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the scene of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of M-52 and Beard Road shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Upon arrival, they found the Davison woman deceased inside her vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second vehicle involved was driven by a 32-year-old woman from Perry, who had her 4-year-old daughter in the car at the time of the crash. Both were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
Preliminary findings indicate that the Davison woman was traveling southbound on M-52 when the other vehicle pulled out in front of her, leading to the fatal collision.
The Shiawassee County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
No names have been released at this time.
