We are heartbroken to share the tragic loss of two of a beloved ARCOM students, Hannah Ford and Megan Herrold, both members of the Class of 2025. Their untimely passing has left a profound void in our ACHE family and in the hearts of everyone who knew them.
Hannah and Megan were more than just students — they were bright, compassionate individuals who inspired those around them with their dedication, kindness, and drive to make a difference in the world through medicine. Their presence lit up our campus, and their absence will be deeply felt across our classrooms, clinics, and community.
We extend our most sincere condolences to the families, friends, classmates, faculty, and all who were touched by their lives. This is an unimaginable loss, and we grieve alongside all who loved them.
In the days ahead, we urge our students and staff to take care of themselves and one another. We are committed to supporting our community through this difficult time.
Counseling services will be available on campus throughout the week for all students, faculty, and staff. We encourage anyone in need to seek support and lean on each other as we mourn together.
Let us honor the memory of Hannah and Megan by continuing the work they were so passionate about — caring for others, lifting up those in need, and walking forward with purpose and compassion.
