Tristian Plumley, 23, Dies in Early Morning Motorcycle Crash

St. Joseph, Missouri — A tragic accident claimed the life of 23-year-old Tristian Plumley early Wednesday morning, as reported by the St. Joseph Police Department, The crash occurred on North Belt Highway at the intersection of Blackwell Road around 1:57 a.m. on July 30.

The incident involved multiple motorcycles, with Plumley being one of the riders. Upon arrival, officers found that one individual had suffered injuries and was transported to Mosaic Life Care for treatment. Tragically, Plumley was discovered unresponsive at the scene and was rushed by Buchanan County EMS to the hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

Authorities reported that a third motorcycle was involved in the collision but had fled the scene prior to police arrival. The SJPD identified the third rider by Wednesday afternoon, and their investigation into the crash is ongoing. The SJPD Traffic Reconstruction Unit has been called in to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
