Baton Rouge, LA — The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 23-year-old Zachary Lewis on Sunday afternoon.
Authorities say the shooting occurred around 4:41 p.m. at the Warwick Apartments, located along Jefferson Highway. Lewis was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment but was later pronounced dead.
As of now, no suspects have been identified and a motive remains unclear. The investigation is ongoing.
