Cynthia Medina Obituary: Beaumont Woman Killed in Tragic Head-On Collision in San Jacinto

 CA – The community is mourning the loss of Cynthia Medina, a 47-year-old Beaumont resident, who tragically lost her life in a devastating head-on collision Tuesday afternoon in San Jacinto. The accident also left three other individuals with serious injuries.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred at approximately 4:22 p.m. on August 5 along Ramona Expressway, just west of Sanderson Avenue.

Sgt. Patrick Lynch reported that a vehicle traveling westbound on Ramona Expressway crossed over the center line for unknown reasons, crashing head-on into another vehicle. The impact caused significant damage to both vehicles, and emergency responders quickly arrived on the scene.

Cynthia Medina, identified as the sole occupant and driver of one of the vehicles, was trapped inside and tragically pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

Three passengers in the other vehicle sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital after receiving initial treatment on-site.

The stretch of Ramona Expressway between Sanderson Avenue and Warren Road was temporarily closed during the emergency response and investigation but has since reopened.

The Riverside County Coroner’s Office confirmed Cynthia Medina’s identity on Wednesday.
