The Fresno County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the man who tragically lost his life in a crash near Meadow Lakes on Wednesday as 22-year-old Ali Seyedin of Clovis.
According to authorities, Seyedin was traveling with two other men along Auberry Road when their pickup truck failed to navigate a curve, veering off the roadway. The Toyota plunged 200 feet down an embankment before striking a tree and coming to rest.
Volunteers from the Auberry Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene and found all three men trapped inside the vehicle. The 21-year-old driver and 22-year-old front passenger, both wearing seat belts, sustained moderate to severe injuries and were transported for medical care.
Seyedin, seated in the back and not wearing a seat belt, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is actively investigating the incident to determine the contributing factors that led to the tragic crash.
Ali Seyedin’s sudden passing has left his family, friends, and community heartbroken. He will be remembered for his spirit, the joy he brought to those around him, and the promise of a future taken far too soon. His loss is a stark reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing every moment with the ones we love.
