CINCINNATI, Ohio — Authorities have identified the victim in a deadly shooting that took place Sunday afternoon in the Millvale neighborhood as Taralynn Annette Bowerss.
According to the Cincinnati Police Department, officers responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting gunfire around 3:50 p.m. in the 2000 block of Millvale Court. When they arrived, they found Bowerss suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A witness reported that Bowerss had been shot in the face. Police have not yet released details about possible suspects, and it remains unclear whether anyone is currently in custody. Investigators say the circumstances surrounding the incident are still being pieced together.
This marks the second fatal shooting in Cincinnati within less than 12 hours, intensifying concerns about the ongoing wave of gun violence in the city. Community leaders and residents alike are calling for action to curb the bloodshed.
