In Loving Memory: Xavier Trevon Kea

CHESAPEAKE, Va. — The Chesapeake community is grieving the tragic loss of 29-year-old Xavier Trevon Kea of Suffolk, who died early Wednesday morning following a single-vehicle crash on the Route 58 eastbound on-ramp to I-664 north.

According to the Virginia State Police, the crash occurred around 4:56 a.m. when Xavier’s 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee ran off the left side of the roadway, striking two trees before coming to a stop. He was partially ejected from the vehicle during the collision. First responders from Chesapeake Fire and EMS performed CPR at the scene, but, tragically, Xavier was pronounced deceased.

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation as state police work to determine the cause.

Xavier is remembered by friends and family as a kind, vibrant, and loving individual whose presence touched the lives of many. His sudden passing has left a deep void in the hearts of those who knew him, and the community mourns the loss of a young man whose life ended far too soon.

Authorities are urging anyone with information related to the crash to contact the Virginia State Police to assist with the ongoing investigation.
