HARVEY, La. — The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly shooting that left 24-year-old Tupac Shakur Robinson dead
Deputies said the incident occurred around 9:20 a.m. in Harvey. Officers found Robinson unresponsive inside a vehicle in the 1300 block of Lochlomand Drive. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigations suggest Robinson was struck by gunfire while driving. The shots caused his car to crash into several unoccupied vehicles before coming to a stop.
Authorities have not reported any arrests and continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information to contact their department.
This marks the second deadly shooting being investigated in Jefferson Parish, highlighting ongoing concerns about public safety in the area.
