LAKE HAMILTON, Ark. — Authorities have released the names of three people killed in a fatal boating accident on Lake Hamilton, according to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.
The victims have been identified as Andrew Eason, 36, of Mabelvale; Justin Hall, 50, of Hot Springs; and Edis Miller, 44, of Hot Springs.
Officials said the accident happened over the weekend when a boat carrying several people encountered trouble on the water. Emergency crews responded to the scene, where multiple agencies worked together in recovery efforts. Despite their attempts, Eason, Hall, and Miller were pronounced dead.
The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, along with local law enforcement, is continuing to investigate the circumstances that led to the tragedy. No further details have been released about what caused the accident, though officials have confirmed that all three victims were on the same vessel.
