CENTER POINT, Ala. — Authorities have released the name of the man fatally shot in Center Point on Tuesday evening. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office confirmed the victim as 35-year-old Patrick Cornelius Carter Jr., whose life was tragically cut short following a shooting on the city’s northeast side.
