KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police have launched a homicide investigation after a man was found dead Wednesday evening in the 500 block of Bales Avenue.
Officers were called to the scene just before 6:30 p.m., where emergency crews had already located an unresponsive adult male. Investigators confirmed the victim had suffered gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, no suspect information has been released, and no arrests have been made. Detectives are working to determine the circumstances that led to the fatal shooting.
