KUNA, Idaho – Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal crash that occurred Thursday morning along Kuna Mora Road. The Ada County Coroner confirmed the deceased as 19-year-old Jeremiah Tilford of Caldwell, whose sudden passing has left family, friends, and the community heartbroken.
According to investigators, Tilford was driving a 1992 Honda Accord eastbound when he attempted to pass two vehicles by entering the westbound lane. During the maneuver, his vehicle collided head-on with a 2012 Ford Edge. The force of the impact also involved a third vehicle, a 2022 Toyota Camry traveling eastbound, which was struck in the aftermath.
Emergency responders arrived quickly, but Tilford’s injuries were fatal. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities said he was the sole occupant of the Honda. The Ford Edge, driven by a 44-year-old individual, and the Toyota Camry, carrying two people, sustained minor injuries. All three were transported to a local hospital and are expected to recover.
The Ada County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate, working to reconstruct the crash. Officials emphasized the risks of unsafe passing on rural roads and urged drivers to exercise caution.
