LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. — It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Steven Chase Liebler, 36, of Lexington, who tragically lost his life in an automobile accident on Saturday, September 6, 2025.
Steven was traveling along Old Cherokee Road near Foxglen Road when the crash occurred just before 11 p.m. Despite the swift response of emergency crews, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Born and raised in Lexington, Steven was known for his kind heart, unwavering loyalty to his friends, and deep love for his family. He carried a spirit of generosity that touched everyone around him, always ready to lend a helping hand. His laughter and warmth left an imprint on those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Steven enjoyed the simple joys of life — spending time outdoors, sharing meals with loved ones, and cheering on his favorite local teams. Above all, he valued the connections he built with family and friends, who will forever cherish his memory.
He leaves behind a grieving family, countless friends, and a community deeply saddened by his sudden loss.
