MT. HEALTHY, Ohio – Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened Tuesday night in Mt. Healthy.
Officers responded around 8:45 p.m. to the 1600 block of Lakenoll Drive, just off Hamilton Avenue near the Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway.
When they arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office identified the victim early Wednesday as 22-year-old Brandon Michael Grimes of Forest Park.
The Mt. Healthy Police Department and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office are handling the investigation. At this time, authorities have not released information on a possible suspect, motive, or any arrests.
The investigation remains ongoing.
