CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C — Authorities have identified the woman who tragically lost her life in a motor vehicle crash on Highway 165 Sunday evening as 44-year-old Latasha Way of Hanahan, according to the Charleston County Coroner’s Office.
The crash was reported shortly after 8:30 p.m., about a mile south of Hyde Park Road. Investigators said Way was driving when her vehicle veered off the roadway for reasons still under review. The car left the travel lanes and struck a tree with significant force.
