LAKEWOOD, N.J. – Authorities have identified the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash Saturday night at a Lakewood intersection.
The accident happened at the intersection of Shorrock Street and Four Seasons, where police say the rider ran a red light before colliding with an SUV.
The victim has been identified as 33-year-old Anthony Ferrentino. According to his obituary, Ferrentino was a graduate of Toms River High School North, where he played varsity baseball before graduating in 2010.
Loved ones remember him as a passionate, energetic individual whose life was tragically cut short. Funeral services are scheduled for next week as family and friends prepare to honor his memory.
