Hamilton, N.J. — A 30-year-old woman from Florence was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning on Interstate 295 in Hamilton, according to New Jersey State Police.

Trooper Charles Marchan said Angelissa Jeter was driving a Nissan north on the I-295 ramp to Route 29 around 6 a.m. when her vehicle veered into the right shoulder and struck a concrete barrier.

The car then traveled across the lanes and hit another concrete barrier on the left side of the roadway.

Jeter suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
